With our individual freedom and liberty under constant assault, I am well pleased to see that Cold Steel is currently donating 10% of online sales to the NRA. Protecting our right to keep and bear firearms goes hand in hand with our right to own, carry and use Cold Steel products, and both will disappear unless we are vigilant. We each need to do what we can, and Cold Steel is doing their part. Link.

Good deal!

Lets see now, Cold Steel will sell me their Brave Heart Boot Knife for $85 on Special Projects and they will send $8.50 to the NRA. WOW!

Or I could buy the same knife online from a dealer (say KnifeCenter?) for $63 and send the NRA the difference myself. $22 to the NRA.

But I better hurry, I only have a few more days for LCT to online overcharge me and send less than half of the overcharge to the NRA.

That's right up there with the Military Discount that works the same way. That LCT, he sure is a Military and NRA Philanthropist.

If you can find the knife cheaper online and you want to send the difference to the NRA that's awesome. I can send you a link showing you how to donate.
It's an important cause that we are proud to support.

Sweet! Way to bring the bashing to the next level. I wonder what kind of reception you would get over on the Becker or Busse forum if you made these comments?

Cold Steel is the company, they set the price. If some dealers want to charge 5 cents above their wholesale cost you should be in high cotton and smiling all the way to the bank, not bashing a company and its owner "on their own forum" because you don't understand how business is done.

Business works by making a profit. If a site like Knifecenter isn't making a decent profit, they won't stay in business, so...I'm fairly sure they're making more than $.05 per knife on those Bravehearts. Same with the other multitude of dealers also charging roughly that same price. Don't get me wrong, I like CS products and I own a lot of them, and it's cool that they're donating to the NRA, but, like the other dude said, if you want to buy a CS knife, and you really want to support the NRA...buy the knife elsewhere, and donate the difference to the NRA, even if you only donate HALF of what you save you'll still be making a bigger donation than buying it from CS direct.
