Recently I asked our mutual friend Muskrat Man if he could help me with a couple of Cold Steel slipjoints. While I don't at all mind yellow synthetic scales on some of my Case knives, I absolutely hated the black "faux jigged bone" on the Cold Steel knives. Looked and felt cheap and ruined (for me) what is in all other respects a pretty good knife considering the excellent Carbon V blades.
Anyway, these pix are just preliminary shots that I got from Muskrat Man but I wanted to post 'em side by side with what the knives looked like with the original scales.
Now I won't be ashamed to pull one of them out and use it.
Thanks, Muskrat Man, I'm sure they'll be even better in person.
