I just got my Native back from Spydie land. Actually, it appears to be a new Native, not the one I sent back. The pocket clip had started to give and slice the handle a bit. I sent it back with a check to have them replace the handle. I got back a replacement knife, and my check. They said they would turn it in to their R&D to find out why it broke and apologized for any inconvenience.

When I bought my Native, I showed it to a friend of mine and he asked how much I paid for it. His eyes got a little wide when I told him. I told him that Spyderco had a great reputation to along with their unique designs. And now they've proved to me why they have such a great reputation.

I guess I'll have to save my pennies for a new Delica one of these days.

Thanks Spyderco!

That's actually how I've bought a lot of my knives over the years. I seem to gather a lot of change over the course of a day and it all goes into a jar. I know I've bought at least three knives with the change from that jar... and not cheap knives either.

My RTAK came out of the change jar, so did my Kershaw Hawk and Endura.

It's about half full now.
