Started on the formidable kuhkri. 1084, hammer finish. The geometry was forged down fine enough that all it needed was to have a slight bevel convexed on. tapers from 1/4" to 1/16th.

I made some kuhkri shaped knives before, but with this one tried to adhere to the traditional shape as much as possible.

Thanks guys!

I know the photos make it look a bit like crap, there is alot of subtle geometry changes and slight forged in bevels.

Looks good. Any chance of a closer look at Ashokan? With a handle? Would you like me to bring my pre-1890 issue one along for you to look at?

Nice work, Sam. Can you please post pics when you get the handle on?

Junk:barf:.... you should consider making bird houses. At the moment, I am low on 1084 so you can just send me that useless piece of steel for my inventory. I will even pay for the shipping.... that's how generous I feel today.;)

As always, great stuff, Sam:thumbup::p

ps. That broadleaf plantain in your grass is great for treating psoriasis and insect bites... steep it for 20min and soak your underwear in it to fix that nasty crotch-rott.
