As a newbie, when I look at the offerings in the DOD's, I try to identify the kuks' styles before looking at the text that identifies them. Two models I typically confuse are the WWII and the BAS. Can anyone tell me what distinguishes these two models? Also, while Yangdu offers a generic WWII, does anyone know what MK version they are?

Thanks in advance.

Generally, the BAS and the WWII are pretty easy to tell apart. The BAS is more or less a usually lighter and unfullered AK with scrollwork in the sword of Shiva. The WWII usually is blunter at the tip and seems more wasp waist. Actually, I sometimes have a hard time telling the WWII apart from one of the new bigger Pen Knives.

I may be wrong, but size is a difference too.

WWII looks to be more like 16.5" and BAS 15". Maybe Nazi's heads were harder to chop.
