Hi everybody.
I received my first kukri this afternoon. It is realy something. Thanks Uncle Bill. I think this is first kukri in Croatia (you know better - is it ?). I am very excited and impressed. I showed it to all my friends and they said that the PIECE is something realy outstanding. Next week I am going to go to woods with my father so I have a chance to test it. Thanks again. Now I know meaning of HIKV.

OK.
Be kind for some facts.
Could you tell me meaning of that words on blade ? How many kuris are in this serie ? Is there something special about that kind of kukri ? Name is Especiale but what kind of kukri is it ?

Thanks.

Kurdy

Hi Kurdy:

I think what you are talking about is the HI in Devanagari, the local alphabet in Nepal.

I guess there were maybe a dozen or 15 blades in that first series but they are not marked as you can see.

What to call this style? I don't know. It was dreamed up by Sanu and Bura and Sanu did most of the work on the number 1 which I have.

I think HI kukris are very rare things outside US. Specialy in Europe.
BTW - kukri owners from Europe - send replys, please !

Kurdy

Over the past dozen years we have shipped almost everywhere in Europe. But we have never shipped to Russia or mainland China which surprises me a little -- could be the currency issue.
