Kukri bayonet?

I came across what I could only describe as a kukri bayonet at a flea market today. The guy was asking $200 so I passed. It was marked, and looked old. It was all steel (no handle scales, the round attachment point served as the "handle" when not mounted to a firearm). I was wondering if anyone could suggest a value for something like this? It did have a clear proof-mark of some sort.

If anyone can link the pic that I took, I could send it to them in an e-mail.

Found the ones looking more like Kukris. I've never seen anything like it. Wouldn't make sense how we used our bayonets but why not? There aren't many pictures of them compared to the ones in the link I provided earlier which seems more common. Maybe they were limited to one particular regiment or only issued for a short time?
If you Google you'll come across some older auctions and can guess the value from there.

Have seen 1 original, 3 repos from AC, and 4 fakes. Caveat emptor, lads.

You'd probably use it more like a poleaxe than you would with a knife bayonet. In bladed weapons terms, I guess a rifle with a knife bayonet handles more like a Japanese Kiku Yari (a spear with a tanto blade) or a European glaive.

From your description a fake.

Even most that look real & straight are fake... Sold by the one of the companys that had a couple of hundred real ones.

Good photo will give you a 100% answer though.

Truth is in the welding......
