Hi Folks!
Just been surfin & found this amazing site from a
Ninjitsu martial arts training school! They will train first Dans to use our favorite tool! Yes The Kukri! They follow a rather novel historical World War 1 combat tecnique though.

Check it out!

Spiral :) ;) :D :D

That's right up there with the khukuri striking fear into the hearts of the Japanese during WWII because of their morbid preoccupation with decapitation, the khukuri as a knife used to assassinate sleeping nazis, and the karda and chakmah being used as "torture knives" :D

That can't be right, everyone knows that they are Australian and when thrown, return like a boomerang...:p

:D LMFAO!!!!:D Issued in sets of three, eh? Oh yeah, the two little ones are for removing the means of bipedal locomotion from the warring Lilliputians. Gotta be careful, though, everyone knows that they're meaner then hell. Almost as mean as a gnome!

edited more than once because I type and spell like a preschooler

It says the khukuri is from Indonesia. Uncle Bill and John Powell must be wrong. Hopefully someone will update the khukuri FAQ.

Ninjas and kukris sound like a good combination. Swords were forbidden to civilians in ancient Japan, and only the Samurai could legally own one. That's why ninjas were so creative in coming up with alternatives; such as blowguns, sickle & chains, shuriken, etc.

Finally! A source to rely on and gain so much good info from.

Yes, I must admit it. I have been so wrong about everything. The Indonesian Ankle Cutting Kukris will be the base of all my research from now on. Now if I can get the seller of this (2198547235) to become a fact checker the book is all but finished!

There are a lot of young guys that don't know any different and will eat this stuff up. I sure would like to know where they got their information.

These guys are mindless morons and there are plenty of them out there.
You all probably guessed that.
There are lots of real ninjas in the world and they love khukuris, that's true.
These guys are just illiterate charlatans.

Danny, I agree. Someone should set the record straight. Hollywood movies and American TV have given an incorrect portrayal of ninjitsu. In reality, the shadow warriors were spies more so than killers for hire. Sure, assasination was one of their traits, but so was protecting innocent civilians and farmers who were being ravaged by shoguns and rogue samurai.

Interesting. On one page they state (truthfully) that the lineages are headed by Dr. Hatsumi. On another page they indicate they received their teaching by Ashida Kim...

Of course, they also use tonfa and kama, traditional Karate implements.

BACK IN GEORGIA AND OUT OF ACTIVE DUTY, YAHOO!

Dang, man. Any knucklehead with a computer and a dark strip of cloth around his waist can claim to be a master at anything.

Indonesia huh?

Yep, definitely got us a master here.

Shees, what a maroon (Bugs Bunny voice).
