Was wondering if anyone has seen or can ID this one. It has an 18 inch blade that is about 1/2 thick at spine and tapers quickly giving it a very light feel compared to an HI Ang Khola of similar size but heavier than a sirupati.

It doesn't look old, so I would assume it's recent production. Beyond that, I haven't a clue. The HI Cantina might yield better info. Take care.

I am sure it is fairly modern (like in the last decade or so). It does not have the usual HI markings so I am pretty sure it is not an HI, but the quality is very high on this one and the handle is extremely comfortable.

Brass handled sacrificial khukuri. Likely made in Dharan. Possibly sold by one of the many houses. All houses are pretty much Khukuri House.

ID solved. KHHI 18" brass handled khuk

Solved it myself with continued research, lol

you guys are good. I was racking my brain and after a while found it. you guys had it on the money. it is very nice. A little on the large side but very maneuverable

KHHI has stepped up their finish a bit in recent years. They also outsource.
One thing they cannot do, is duplicate the H.I. toughness.

"Always imitated never duplicated"

Say I know a little
I know a little about it
I know a little
I know a little 'bout it
I know a little 'bout love
And baby I can guess the rest

:D

Yes sir Karda

Do you think Lynyrd would approve the lyric change?
