A couple weeks ago I purchased a Kurki Machete since I've wanted one for a while and the price was right, and also on the chance that I'll get one from before a possible new "no edge" version hits the market.
It had a rough edge, not as good a edge on the CS machetes I bought years ago, but at least it had an edge.
I took a risk and ordered two more and they arrived today.
These had even rougher edges with burrs. I quickly removed them with a Lansky Puck.
I don't know if CS started sharpening machetes again or if these are older stock. The logo on the package still has the tanto and the address of CS is listed as Ventura, CA.
Overall I'm satisfied with the machetes.
