Hey all,
Finished this one last week, but just got the sheath done today.

The blade is twisted W's damascus, in O1 and L6, and the handle is black micarta with stainless bolster and mosaic pin. This is the first bolster I've scalloped. Not sure what good it does, but it looks nice.

The blade has a few minor cosmetic blemishes that keep me from selling it, but I couldn't bear to throw it away, so I'll be keeping it or gifting it.

Total length is about 16-1/4", and the blade is about 9/32" thick at the bolster. Pretty light for a kukri, but it seems ok to me.

The scalloped bolster does look really cool and the steel pattern is mesmerizing in the close up picture. Nicely done.

That is some amazing work. The entire package is absolutely spectacular to my eyes.
How does it balance?

WOW!

I can't see any cosmetic issues, so it must be something only your eye can see.

If you gift that to some one, they will be speechless.

I think you ought to just sell it at a discount. I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed by it!

if those cosmetic issues start to bother you enough, I'll gladly trade you my traditional Kukuri i picked up from a ghurka years ago... it's one of my favorite pieces, but hey I'd hate to see you stuck with that one if you feel that strong about it ;)
