A customer designed these and asked me to make them for him. It's a kukri and companion knife that go together in the same sheath, (unfortunately, I didn't think to take a picture of the sheath before I sent it off). The kukri is 18" overall and made from 1095. The companion knife is 0-1, and is 8" overall. The fittings are stainless and the handles are figured walnut. The guards are soldered on.

Every time I've seen a modern or "Western" take on this pattern, I've always dismissed it as inferior to the design that's lasted hundreds of years...until this one.
Best non-traditional interpretation of a khuk I've ever seen. Outstanding

Rob, You amaze me again, they look fantastic, I want to get in line for a small skinner like the one here. My bowie should be here soon an I can't wait to whack something with it.

Best Regards-----Joe Allen

Fantastic, incredible. I loved the "warm" feeling of these handles. Feels like teddy bears or furry carpets... mmmm :D
