Kukri

What makes a good kukri? I was looking at a woodmans pal but i may benefit more from a kukri and have always liked the design. Can you recommend a kukri that won't break the bank? Like 80$ or less.

Absolutely.

Like a machete, you can find a cheap khuk that will do you well, but if you want top of the line at a still cheap price for what you get, HI is the way.

Condor makes a superb working kukri for around 20 bucks. I picked one up last week. Kabar and Cold Steel are also popular choices for cheap beaters, but like everyone else said, HI is the real deal.

I got mine through Khukuri House, I had to reshape the handle a bit, but I really like it. It took awhile for it to get here though and I have heard others have had the same problem with them. HI has had nothing but praise, if I buy another I may go through them
