coldsteel makes a cheaper kukri and you can get someone to put a razor edge on it. I'm pretty sure it will cut just as well as the others.

Check out the Condor kukri machete, It's great for 25$.
HI Kukris are awesome as well, I got this one earlier this month, little bugger, a bit smaller than a Buck 119, great little knife.

I've heard good things about the Condor Kukri Machete and it doesn't exactly cost a fortune. Just be careful, these things can slice through anything in front of them, you don't want any part of yourself in the path of the swing of something like this.

No you do not, good indicator though, if it starts bleeding, you've chopped the wrong kind of limb.

Also, don't go chopping through any poison ivy with it. Just trust me on that one, that was dumb.
