Hi evrybody this is my first time to post in this particular forum and I have some questions. first where can I find a cheap kukri just tofell the chopping power from these mighty blades and two how do you sharpen one? Would a Lansky with a serrated sharpener work? Thanks for your time and patience.

Hi Mykl. I'm selling some blems. Check out blem #3. You won't find a better deal than this.

Go to the Himalayan Imports archives and do a search on sharpening. You'll find more info than you probably want or need.

Khukuri FAQ

The khukuri's curves are not large enough to warrent the serrated Lansky sharpener. The regular stones will do fine. I free hand with the Lansky and Spyderco stones. The course (red) is great for speed. Don't get too carried away with it as you can remove a lot of metal. Using chakma or steeling will considerably length the life of the khukuri. Usually use the Spyderco ceramic sticks free hand.

Read the sharpening and khukuri FAQ for more info.

Hi Mykl.

You just grab Blem #4. 15 inch AK by Kesar. Good buy. ... call or email Pakcik Bill ... I know you wouldn't regret this fast grab (if you are lucky enough to grab it 1st before somebody else)!

NEPAL HO!
