Kukui in Major Payne?

Ok i know someone here has seen Major Payne what blade does he have in the movie does anyone know it's been a while since I've seen it but I remember his "big field knive" that you see a couple of times in the movie

Seen it many times and remember the big field knife perfectly. I'll have to watch it again to try and identify. I wasn't a khuk addict when I watched it before. I remember him clearly scratching the top of his bald head with it as he read the book the super hot teacher gave him to read.

It was a great movie, I loved it.

Great movie. Loved it when he beat up the greasy biker too. Classic.

And blasting the boogie man in the closet, I howled. If he's in there he ain't happy!
 
Good movie but they really ought to do a better job finding technical advisors. If any of my soldiers had shown up with that bracelet and watch on they would have been thrown out of formation by the First Sergeant long before I even made it to troop inspections. Top never allowed anyone in his formation that I would have had to gig. You would think as such a gung-ho Major he would have known that.
 
Looks to me like a variant one of those cheap windlass khukuri that AC and Sarco inc sells. Pretty sure it is.
A $20 khukuri that alright for a beater if you don't really care about fit, finish or heat treat.

Must have gotten those pics of the internet Karda cause I KNOW nothing like that would be allowed in your place.... by the way WHAT the heck is with that edge on that thing?
 
Best part of that movie is the little engine that could bedtime story, I crack up everytime, do a youtube search and it will come up.

Yes, pics are from internet.
Not that I wouldn't own one. If I needed a beater khukuri, theyre not bad for $20.
But I'm so jaded now and have enough nice khukuri that I have no need for such things.
 
I love that movie.
