What is a Garuda?

Garuda literally means Eagle in Nepali/Hindi.

The Garuda is a large legendary bird, bird-like creature, or humanoid bird that appears in both Hindu and Buddhist mythology. Garuda is the mount (vahana) of the Lord Vishnu.

There is a Garud knife also, which is basically a fighter-type khukuri with a really cool Garud eagle/dragon thing carved handle.

I've never seen this model before. Looks useful.
