friend of mine is writing his 5th horror novel bout werewolves
and he was asking me about Chinese "ghost killing " weapons
he also inquired about my "boomerang kookys"
question for you experts is, are their any Nepalese superstitions about the kukuri
taking on demons and such ?
if so , villages , origins ,and actual stories will be very helpful

thanks

well there is the HI forum people come here get bitten and become addicts and blind followers....

kukanthrapy indeed...

viral in nature makes the "inflicted " at the highest point of a full sun
sit at a computer screen with a credit card in hand
only known cure is silver "mounted in a kukuri found by a SO"
note: This only cause a temporary abatement of this insidious disease

In the Celtic tradition a warlock is someone, male OR female, who has been thrown out of their home Coven. Male witches are called witches.

The kukhri, like the ball-peen hammer is a traditional anti-zombie (or zuvimbie) device

I'd like to know too demon tessu. From what I've seen, khukuri have built-in imagery that would both protect both the knife and the owner from demons. So unless the evil spirits of Nepal have been eating their wheaties, we're likely to find comparitively less incidence of haunted blades and posessed warriors in folklore. And, as it's been pointed out, less zombies too.

A kukuri with silver inlay should do a fine job vs. (Western) were-folk and vampires, too. Of course, vampires have always been vulnerable to losing their head, even without silver.

well the tools that make the knives , blessed with blood ,and sacrifice
the forge blessed with blood ,and sacrifice
the kami blessed with blood ,and sacrifice
the kuks them selves are blessed with the blood of a "warrior" as well before shipment
and we all say Your kuk seems to "find " you not the other way around
seems to me there has to be some legends about evil spirits being vanished
by the bent blades
hell Tibet is full of "ghost' killers

I recall the movie 'Dracula' which I have seen a couple of times....

Only that I recall the last time I saw it............The vamp was cut in the throat by a khukri than stabbed in the heart by a bowie.
