Kumagoro - Petit Gyuto - 135mm - thoughts?

I have one in 180mm. It is not a bad knife, but not my favorite, pretty flat the back 1/3 with a more aggressive curve to the tip starting too late. I like a more gentle curve starting further back and a slightly lower tip. Distal taper is not great, its a little chunky at the tip.

The steel is pretty good and takes a great sharp edge and holds it about the same as AEB-l. I think the 62-63 hrc is an overstatement.

More than 100 grams for a 135mmm.....

Fit and finish is pretty good.

I still use mine, just not a go to.
 
These small blades get a lot of abuse, have a small board contact area and will get sharpened frequently. Expect them to wear out quickly.
