Here is Kumar, wife and kid outside the shop. They also live rent free on second floor and send all pals, customers, nephews, forumites, a hearty "namaste!"

Khukuri FAQ

I must add my best wishes to Kumar and his family. Tell him I find my kobra quite useful, and if I ever get an interesting photo of it in action I'll send it.

Namaste, Kumar. Thank you for very good khukuris and I hope to see more come from your talented hands.

Tell Kumar that I hefted one of his 25" Kobras. And that I have his 30" Sirupati.

Tell the kamis that not soon, but someday if the gods are willing I want one of Kumar's long light pieces that he forges and deeply fullers to be turned over to Sanu to hot forge blade engraving into the fullers. Kumars knives have bravery and spirit within them. Sanu's have disciplined endurance and the character that comes from wisdom. Perhaps if Ganga Ram stops by he can choose the piece of steel and impart a blessing and the magic of Nepal, and have Bura fashion and engrave a bolster and diamond shaped keeper for a chainpuri shaped 7" long handle... and tell them all that what they do imparts truth, magic, and what dreams are made of.

It gives us great pleasure to see the family pictures of the smiths who make the wonderful knives we own. Kumar, and his beautiful wife and child, are known to us in this way, and the spirit flows between us. Namaste!
