Beautiful Reti. I'm kind of holding out for one with an antler button on the end like Ndog's. He teases me with it from time to time.

This one is especially nice though. Very tempting just the way it is.........

hmmmmm.......cogs in the head are running, not too smoothly, but at least they're moving.

Kumar makes the best Reti, IMHO. He excels at thin, fast blades. Actually, he's pretty dang good at every type of blade. I love how thin and keen he gets his edges.

I might need to see if Yangdu has anything of his laying about that needs a new home. My grandmother, God love her, perpetually thinks of me as 7 and not 37, and stuffed money into my shirt pocket for my birthday over the weekend. "Don't tell grandpa I'm giving you this..." Later my grandpa asked if she had given me anything, and I'm not going to lie, so I said "Yeah, but it's ok. I really don't need this.."

"She probably didn't give you enough. Take this and spend it on yourself...and here's a little extra to spend on Evey (my daughter)" And he slipped some more cash in my pocket:rolleyes:

So I'm not exactly flush with cash, but I figure its disposable enough. Grandma would have just used it to buy cigarettes (well, made Grandpa go buy them for her). Grandpa would probably buy hearing aid batteries, then promptly "lose" them. Smart man. His workshop is impeccable. Every tool has a place and will be exactly where it needs to be. 62 years of my grandma hollering at him, and his "forgetfulness" buys him some silence;)

Anyway, karma dropped me bit of spending money, so I think it's only right to see what kind of HI goodies it'll help buy;)

Has your grandparents given any thought to adoption. I'm completely available and could certainly use some of that disposable income. I'd of course buy my own hearing aid batteries, they are nice when the nagging becomes unbearable. Flip the switch and it's like the Lincoln Continental commercial, quiet as can be.

I'm hankering for a sharp pointy thing too. Maybe I'll send Yangdu a wire my self. See what she has for, lets see.......14 dollars and 17...18 cents. That can't be right. I better count again.
