My Kumar Karda from the last UBBB arrived and its absolutely perfect and shaving sharp. Whats unusual is the back of the sheath is inscribed in silver ink. It says: Uncle Bill 2-23-05. Don't know the significence but this knife will hold an honored place in my small collection.

My special thanks to Uncle Bill and Yangdu for such a beautiful blade.

I think Uncle Bill agreed to autograph at least one knife / sword for Danny in Japan, and maybe some other folks. Unless you asked for that you may have accidentally got one of those. (?) Hang in there and see what happens.

Regards,

Norm

I think it'd be great to sign and date all of them if it weren't extra work for Bill...

But then...it'd be great if Yangdu would include some home made cookies too...:D

to have Uncle sign my tarwar would be an honour. something to be passed down you know?

Well, this is going to open a floodgate.
I don't have anything from Bill in writing and I guess I never will. In a sense, when you think of the way Bill does business, with a handshake, it seems right. I remember the first blade I got from him the check hadn't cleared but the blade was at my door in three days from the time I said, "I'll take it."
