Before I do something really stupid (or perhaps continue to do stupid things), the screws on the tek-lok CAN be threaded through the holes in the sheath lined with metal without damaging stuff and maintaining a secure hold, right? Cause the pure-Kydex holes just aren't in the right angles for what I want to try.

Not with the screws and stuff that came with my Kumo. I would try to find thinner screws at a hardware store, the washers should help stabilize the teklok on your belt for example. It would at least be a cheap experiment.

Yeah, mine won't fit in the metal holes. I was pretty annoyed by the arrangement of the predrilled holes.

You could always drill you another hole or two.

Wow. It's amazing how in between using my hand drill to remove a stripped screw from another knife and as a cordless screwdriver on the tec-lok that I forgot it could also be used as a drill . . . definately will be playing with this over the weekend.
