Kunwu Chad DLC durability

Hello people of the forums!
I have just received my second true DLC knife, the Kunwu Chad.
It has been flipped no more than 30 times, but I can already see the coating wearing off where the crossbar lock is rubbing against the blade.
Is this just a defect on my example or is this normal?
Could it be that the coating was poorly applied?
Any insight would be welcome.

I'd suggest contacting Kunwu about it. I have a Django with basically the same coating and crossbar lock and have flipped it maybe 1,500 times. The coating on the crossbar itself has worn in, but the blade is unaffected.
