Kvt?

I have been hearing about a new bearing or washer design called KVT. From what I can gather, the new tilt and possibly the new ZT/Hinderer collaboration will be using this technology. Does anyone have any more specifics on KVT?

KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) Opening System
The Tilt features Kershaw’s new KVT opening system for buttersmooth
manual opening. Instead of a standard pivot hinge, the Tilt
has ball bearings at the pivot point. Pull back on the ambidextrous
blade protrusion, the ball bearings rotate, and the blade glides out
of the handle quickly and easily.

The KVT Opening System uses ball bearings
at the pivot point.
