Kwaiken or mini Vanquish?

both are excellent representations of their custom conterparts. i personally like the looks of the kwaiken more than the mini vanquish... but there are a few things going for the mini vanquish thats got the kwaiken trumped such as price, 440c, usable thumbstud, sheepsfoot blade and handle ergos.
if you dig the organic looks the vanquish exhibits and can see yourself carrying it everyday i dont think youll be disappointed
if youre attracted to the simplistic/minimalistic japanese influenced kwaiken and are aware of its design flaws give it a try...

Get a Kwaiken and send it to Alex Dietz.He can give it a flipper mod and a detent adjustment so the thumb-disc is easier to use.Love my Kwaiken, especially after Alex got ahold of it!!

I just picked up both of these knives from blade hq. My kwaiken has a round thumb disc like the others. The mini vanquish is a really cool design by mine's a little gritty. Going to take it apart and clean it. Really like both knives by the kwaiken is nicer mainly due to the ikbs. Both will make there way to Alex for pimpage soon.
