Been a long time since I had something to post, so I'm glad it's something I am really happy with. I had posted this last year sometime but didn't have time to finish. I've been working on a few of these, trying to find the best way to bring out the hamon. While this one is nice I can't wait to post the others! When they are done, patience is something you learn doing this type of polishing. I used 1095 with a clay coat. I brought it up to 1500 then did a vinegar etch polish etch polish..you get the idea. This way seems to bring out the life in the little grey areas, something I can't quite catch with my lens yet.

Very nice flow to the curve. Love the blade but not super keen on the exposed butt.

This one grabbed my attention right away. Nicely done all the way around. Mike
