Here is one I am currently finishing up on.

This is .195" AEB-L 62c LN Cryo, chisel grind with a hammered and paintina copper habaki, brown ito cord over tight bound cotton impregnated and sporting a hammered copper menuki with a patina.

Next is figuring out what to cover the metal sheath with.

Did you move?? Mark doesn't look like Chino... O_o

Curious to see how you sheath this up.. Any matching accents planned?

I plan on a metal sheath, the sheath will only touch the habaki and the blade is free floating :)

Hey Chris! How do you know Mark?

Just had it on at a big 3D shoot and had a ton of questions and complements

The sheath I am making for this one is metal like yours but the throat is polished and the habaki seats in it and no other part of the blade touches the inside of the sheath.

Now I am tossing around covering it with black leather or ostrich skin.
 
Adam- Got your email. And I don't know Mark! I suppose my comment was vague though... It should read "Did you move? Your MAKERS mark doesn't look like Chino!"... :D

So yeah, Mark? I know a mark, but not a Mark that is into knives or this site or California for that matter!

Hope to see an update on this package too!

And when might you GO BIG and do a waki? A2... O_O

I mis-read you post LOL My sons name is Mark and I thought you were talking about him, now that I reread your post it was a face palm moment LOL

I am going to have to look into making a Waki :)
