KYDEX Anyone?

Guys:

Just curious, who out there has and uses the EKI KYDEX deployment sheath on a regular basis. Any comment good or bad would be much appreciated.

One final question, is the belt attachment a small tech-loc?

Don't pack one, but from the looks of the video, its a loop, but not a tech-lock.
Maybe somebody can help here.

I belive "JayHarley" has one. He just left a post at the General forum, so you might be able to get ahold of him there.

Thinking of doing up something similar? Maybe a bit more low profile?

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been using a nylon pouch similar to a 'Leatherman' pouch for my P-SARK. But the multiple waving is taking it toll on the nylon and tearing it to shreds (like most of my jean pockets). I was thinking of incorperating a combination of the two, Kydex in nylon so it has a 'lower' profile and appears a little more PC (for the sheeple). I was just wondering what other people may think of the Kydex EKI rig.

...Eric at On-Scene Tactical? He might have some ideas. I too like the idea of a belt sheath, but the Emerson one does seem a bit high profile for my tastes. I am thinking some kind of horizontal sheath would be good. Ideas?
