Kydex for Raptor.

Where? Who? How Much?
Looks great!
:)

Thanks.

I made the sheath myself, as I thought the factory Leatherman Raptor sheath too big for my use. The factory sheath is fine for vest/backpack/MOLLE use, but IMO too big for my use on a belt.

Good job if you aren't doing it as a business. But if I'm being critical, you have almost no definition, the holster is still way too big, there is some weird warping and there seems to no rhyme or reason to your designs profile .

Loool, my Raptor sheath holds the tool very firmly in place and snaps in and out of the sheath with a reassuring and resounding click - Im quite happy with the sheath and yes, I make sheaths mostly for myself and for the heck of it ...............contrary to you, who claims to be a custom maker. A custom maker with a defunct business on fb that is.

feel free to.check out some of my work bud. I do all custom stuff

Truth be told, I might have taken you a tiny bit more seriously (not really), of you hadnt posted a pic of what might be the ugliest looking leather sheath Ive ever seen on bf and if you hadnt claimed to be a custom sheath maker seeing as how your business is on fb and from a defunct fb profile to boot (at the time of this writing).

Bush league *sigh*

Looks fine and if it works then it works. MTs can be a pain in general due to their nooks and crannies.

In any case let's try to be respectful in both giving and receiving criticism. Tone can be hard to read through text on a screen.

The lack of definition is probably because he used what looks like .90 kydex
(Is that right)
And with it being thicker higher quality kydex you won't see as much definition on the outside .

Imo I bet the inside is well defined

Hope this makes sense

Thanks.

It works very well. So far Im happy with my sheaths for the shears and the sheaths for the knives, that Ive made (though I wont be a competitor to the Survive GSO sheaths anytime soon. Talk about positive retention. Kudos on those.)

Ive no doubt, that if I made a number of these, Id achieve another look but so far this is the only one for a Raptor, that Ive made and You know the old adage; if it aint broke ......etc.

MTs can be a pain in general due to their nooks and crannies.
Indeed.

Due to the nooks and crannies, its a different job than the kydex knife sheaths, that Ive made.

Affirmative.

IIRC .80 or something in that vicinity, so yeah.

As I read your post, You imply that you'd go a thinner grade?

Personally, Im not to keen on going thinner for this type of sheath, but thats just me. Your mileage may vary.
