Kydex Game Warden sheaths

Who makes a good Kydex Game Warden sheath? Please post photos or links. Thanks!!!
 
I have Kydex sheaths for several of my Busse/Swamp Rat knives. I have one for a Bandicoot made by Brian at Okuden. It is very nice. Brian's sheaths are molded around the base of the knife handle which makes for a very solid lock-up. He tests his sheaths to retain the knife from an inverted 18" drop. I spoke with him today to order a sheath for my BA-E. I asked him if I needed any secondary retention (like a snap loop around the handle). He said unless I'm jumping out of airplanes that a loop is unnecessary. Check out his website and look at the A-1 sheath.

David Brown of Buy Brown Holsters also does great Kydex work. I have one of his sheaths for my Game Warden. His sheaths work via blade retention so they are not molded around the handle. The craftsmanship is excellent. My only issue is that the blade doesn't lock in as tight as I would like, but I could probably heat the Kydex and tighten it up a little.

I think you would be happy with either maker. They are highly recommended by Busse and have received rave reviews on the forum. Do a little research and you should be able to find something you really like. Good luck.
 
Another member here, David E, also makes Kydex sheaths. His site is www.kytac.com, but does not show his knife work. Somebody posted a pic of a sheath David made for a GW. It grips the handle, to reduce the chance of rub marks on the blade.

Big +1 for Okuden. Brian is a great guy and makes great sheaths. I have five from him already and two more in the making :thumbup:
 
I like the handle retention sheaths such as Okuden. I love to here that audible click... you know its locked in, and sounds sweet.

I have never had a blade retention sheath or a knife that came with one...so I can not comment on that type
 
Does anyone have info on the leatherman sheaths for the GW on the BCS site? I have a Sage Crinkle on the way! I'd like to see a pic if anyone has one. Thanks
 
i have several sheaths from leatherman & i have a few that are supposed to ship next week

i'll post pics when they arrive
