Kydex Izula Ideas?

Hey Everybody!

Before I get started, Happy Holidays to you all.
So my father is a leather artisan and pedorthist, and as such has plenty of hardware to create pretty much whatever I can think up. I bought an Izula for my brother's Christmas present, but apparently that was a bad idea (according to the rest of the family) , and I ended up getting him something else. I'm not arguing with that, and the good news is I've got a brand spanking new Izula! I like the sheath that it comes with, but I'd like to give a shot at making my own kydex sheath for probably a concealed carry. I've noticed plenty of people have done this, but I think I can do better, as my father has a vacuum press, which he uses for plastics in his customer's footwear. However, I'm not exactly sure where to go from here. What should I be aiming to do, what should it look like etc. etc. So I'm here to ask you all, any ideas?

Below you will find my mod for horizontal/scout carry of the hest. I was inspired by (I believe) tarditi's nylon webbing mod. I tried that, but the nylon ended up stretching on me, ending with a bite. Boot leather doesn't stretch like the nylon I had, and has been working amazingly well since.

Oh, and here is my Izula, for reference.

I have been pondering custom kydex as well. I have seen several people add loops for fire steel's and bic lighters. I was wondering about getting multiple items pressed into the main part of the sheath such as as an Izula and a microstream light (side by side). Of course they would need to be seperated by a small flat area that would have to rivetted. I am curious to see how this would work out. Also the additional surface area may allow for larger pouches to be added to make a nice compact kit.

Really nice mod, this sheath looks very practical!

If you are so well equipped, why don't you make an attempt with
a full leather sheath for your Izzy? I would be interested to see it...

I hope someone else will help you with kydex...here in Italy it's an almost impossible to find material.
