Having played with Kydex, here is my best advise. If your a "Do it yourself" kinda guy, get a hair dryer . . . or the manly version, a Heat gun. Have a towel folded up and handy. Place the sheath/knife on a flat surface. Heat the kydex with the La Griffe in it until it is slightly limp, remove the heat, then press and hold the towel for about a minute. The Kydex will cool and become hard again, holding the new shape. Bing, it's that simple.

I've "adjusted" a mess of Kydex holsters and even made a few homemade kydex Holsters/Sheaths.

(if you do use a Shop Heat gun, don't set it "too hot", you can burn the Kydex)

I've been told by some members on the forum that a temp in the range of 350 - 400 F works pretty well. I've used a cheap toaster oven to warm the kydex up (I wouldn't recommend using it for food afterward though:D, as the kydex tends to leak some toxic vapors if you get it too hot:barf: .)

Hope this helps,

Woody
