Has anybody seen this? ((I'd love to take a look if anyone has a pic or two))

Do they exist yet?

Should I even have one made???

I'm trying to hold out until the CG ASH-1 is released so I don't have to go out and beat the livin' hell out of this beauty!!!

Trust me she's asking for it... :D

I'm thinking of having a Kydex/Nylon one done by Dan at Semper Paratus Tactical. One like this one:

Those sheaths are sweet..

Unfortunately the guy seems unreachable, or at least he never responded to the email I sent several months ago, so good luck getting one!

If you do get one, I'm jealous. :D

I never have a problem reaching him at this number: 253-973-1807.

Desert SJ with tan/green linen snakeskin.

green linen snakeskin:confused: I thought it was green linen. It sure is an awesome looking handle:thumbup:

Would love to see a pic of that knife out of sheath sometime. I don't think I've ever seen that combo.

Barron, if I could wait on the prodution release I would. Only you know if you can hold out that long.

My Desert ARK has that color grip. Its the best color combo I have ever seen. That combined with the rope pattern grip is an unbeatable pair.

Give Dan a call at the shop. He's a really cool guy who makes the best nylon/cordura/kydex sheaths around. They're not much more than production line Spec-Ops, but with a custom fit kydex liner, heavy duty keeper loops, and incredible craftsmanship. I have two (one for my BATAC and one form my SAR Rat). I love 'em both. You won't be disappointed. He has responded to my emails in the past, but I think the phone is the way to go. Good luck. I know he's always super-busy.

I'm not sure but when I think sheath I think user so why make that SE a user when few months or less you can order all the SH-1s you want?

The way things are you can sell the SE to some nut for $750 and in two months or less buy two back with sheaths.

Ahhh, the voice of reason. :D I thought about this also, but I'm sure we're not looking to see the ASH-1's in hand for quite a while. I want to wait until the CGASH-1's come out, but I'm not sure if I can keep my SE pristine for that long. :)

Amen brother.

I think I'm in trouble.

- BTW, any "NUTs" out there wanna buy a ASH-1 SE for $750??? :D

Had this made for my CG BATAC by Okuden. I am extremly pleased with this sheath. The retention is incredible and the fit and finish is suberb. I added the pouch and unfortantly I forgot to get a pic without it before I attached the pouch. David Brown makes kydex sheaths also. I have only seen his work in pictures but he also has a great reputation. The work of his I have seen is more flashy where as Okuden's is very utilitarian.

I'm gonna be housing my ASH1 SE in kydex. Probably by the weekend :) Can't have naked steel lying around!

Be sure to post some pics Bill. I may be calling for some kydex!;)

Thanks for the pic rt014. I wish they still made green linen that way. Beautifull stuff:thumbup:
