Kydex q's

Hey all

ive recently tried my hand at making a kydex holster for a .45

anyway today I tried to put a bend in it so as to go round the thigh better and ended burning it pretty good

any way to hide the shiny part? I just burnt a piece of scrap to test it sandpaper has not worked so far


I've read through technical briefs and couldn't find anything about it so I thought I'd ask here

Hi James,

Once you have made it shiny or burned it, there is nothing you can do to fix it.
It would be better to start over, I know that stinks but it is the best and only way.

Live with the burn or make another one.
