Kydex Question

I tried this question over in the WSS forum, and it was suggested that the artisans here would be better equipped to address it for me.

What I am curious about is: Does kydex take camo dipping well? Does it adhere? Does it stay fast?

Not sure about camo dipping but I have seen camo kydex. You might just check around to see if you can find it already in camo.

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your reply. I have seen pictures of kydex in woodland and desert camo, but to my eye they looked painted, not actually printed with the pattern.

I'm hoping to dip a trademarked camo pattern, probably Mossy Oak Breakup onto a Kydex sheath and onto the handle slabs. If kydex is available with this pattern on it, great. (Except now I have to find it!)
