kydex rivets

do i realy need the Flaring dies or can i find another way to set them
im putting together an order to start making sheaths and need to know

I use my snap/rivet sets that the leather places sell. They work fine
I also have screws like Rinaldi uses....comes in handy too

I use the rivets that you are talking about. I flare the end of one with a phillip's head screwdriver, put the other half in place, and give it a whack with a ball pein. Works for me, and I haven't split or crumpled any yet. Flaring dies and a press would be better, though.
