Kydex saves the day!

I'll cut to the chase: Our valance from our vertical blinds has been laying in our spare room for weeks now. My brother and I broke the valance clips when we removed the valance to paint the room. Since then I've been everywhere and nobody had clips that would fit. Today I got fed up and made some clips out of some Kydex I had laying around. Two pieces for each "clip" and I made 4 of them. It's holding good and seems pretty snug. I think we've got ourselves a winner. :thumbup: So now I'm celebrating my little job with some Yuenglings. Kydex.... gotta love it! :triumphant:

That's great! It is really remarkable how our knife/sheath making skills get used for other things.

One of the things I used some Kydex for was to replace a fiber washer in a shower head. Haven't had to replace it yet, after 3+ years.
