Does anyone know of a maker of kydex shealths for khukuris? I live in southern Mississippi where leather doesn't hold up well because of the humidity. Do you know of anyone, Bill?

Uncle Bill,

Don't feel bad. After 30 years experience with the darn things, I still have trouble turning them on sometimes.

Hi Bob:

When I was in the airplane racket I used the IBM 650 and 705. The 650 was a mag drum type -- this tells you how long ago this was.
I'd been away from computers for 30 years when I picked up this one. I had 30 days to either learn to use it or return it. After 30 I was stuck with it like it or not. I learned to use it enough to keep it but the effort gave me a bleeding ulcer.

Ben was a big help to me and I appreciate his effort and patience in dealing with this neophyte.

Sounds like I started with computers back when you were in the airplane racket. I gotta say they are much better now than they were then.

I hear there are 2 kinds of people, those that give ulcers and those that get them. I sure wouldn't want to be the one that gives them, but the other choice isn't all that great either. Sorry about the Ulcer.

Take care of yourself Uncle Bill.

Well, Uncle Bill, the information exchange wasn't one way. I learned a great deal about Nepal and its people as well as learn a lot more about the khukuri. It was fun to do and it was for a man and company I really believe in with such a high quality product that I can't believe humans make it. I can't wait until I graduate in a few months so I really start making some money and buy even more khukuris. My collection is just getting started!
