Kydex sheath for BK-24

I'm pretty fed up with the factory sheath. Half of my use consists of sliding the knife in and out of the sheath and I notice the blade gets dull even when it cuts nothing. Time for an upgrade.

Looking for suggestions for a dangler type kydex belt sheath (right hand belt carry)... nylon strapping works for me for the dangler part. I don't like Tek-Loks. I want to be able to rotate the knife slightly when I am driving so it does not dig into my car seats. If possible, provide me with details on who specifically would do this in a competent way. I would prefer that the sheath not exceed the cost of the knife, but I will try to be flexible. This is not something I have much experience with.

There is also a rotating Tek-Lok arrangement, sort of like the clip on a cell phone holster. As for the sheath, any of the regular makers (azwelke, 710) make nice stuff. You get what you pay for, in my experience.

710 or Azwelke... DerekH makes some nice kydex, but not sure if he is taking orders yet. I know there are a lot on the forums..

Two whole choices. Wow. I thought there were lots of people that did this. Have no idea how to contact them, but I will figure it out. But thanks for your help.

Godspeed does good work godspeedtactical.com
Azwelke does good work too, azwelke.com
Julio is the local favorite I think right now 710customsheaths.com (I think)
Derek does good work but isn't Orange yet.

There are others also, but not forum supporters.

I sent an email to 710 requesting suggestions and will probably end up buying from him based on the pictures on his website. I suspect he has just the thing but may have to modify the dangler part a bit. This won't be a difficult sheath to make. I just want a simple secure sheath that does not dull the blade like the factory plastic.

Thanks all. I suspect if the price is reasonable, I'll jump at the first suggestion I get. Not in any big hurry, but like to get things done when I'm thinking about it.

What I was trying to avoid is making a $50 knife into a $200 knife which is senseless as I can buy customs for that and most will have a fine sheath included.

Part of the reason it seems like there are so many is cause a lot of people do their own. Also a lot of people also do leather, Psyop, Goose, Skystorm, and there are more of them too.

I suspect you're right. I have no personal interest in bending Kydex or cutting and sewing leather. I have to admit though, I almost was to that point when I was looking for a leather or kydex sheath for a $20 Ontario machete. I ended up using the cheapie canvas sheaths and pretty much dumping the two or three I own and use Condor machetes almost exclusively now. I have more than a couple of those. They are what keep me from buying a BK-9... God forbid that I would say that on the Becker Forum.

ALL the previously mentioned do excellent work and I would endorse any of them. My only other suggestion would be Glockrazz.

You'd be surprised, round these parts there isn't too much running out on a rail. One of the reasons we are all drawn to Beckers is their price to performance. That said, it's hard to beat a $7 tramotina and even Ethan will admit that.
