I'm here all week, don't forget to tip your waitresses :)

I'll answer: Kydex, a press (mine is made from dense foam padding epoxied to plywood, cheap and easy to make) clamps for your press, and a heat source (heat gun works, but can overheat the kydex a bit. I bought an inexpensive toaster oven, but I make smaller sheaths, and not a lot of them. Don't use your home oven unless you can clean your oven after each use, because it create toxic fumes. Finally, hardware. So many options, so go online and find what you like.

This is a poor man's setup, btw. If you're doing large sheaths of a larger volume, I don't know you would adapt it to your needs.

I watched some clips on you tube and read a bit here. I'm no pro, but it works.

There's many different ways to go about making kydex sheaths, plus a lot of different info on the web, some good, some bad, and some just plain wrong. You'll need kydex, a heat source, some sort of press, something to cut and or shape your material, a way of fastening it together, and a method of carry. Many ways to accomplish all this. As I said, there is a ton of free info on the web, but if you'd like a blueprint for success and don't mind spending some money to shorten the learning curve, I have a DVD set & workbook that many have found helpful - I've been doing this for about 25 years, so have a little experience.
