kydex sheath making

hey fellas, as most of you know by now, im trying to get started and im still looking for advice, what do you guys recomend fo kydex sheath making? i see at TKS, they have a "pro kit" including a press and a riviter, is this the way to go or is there a better option? heres the link http://www.texasknife.com/store/s-pages/TKS_MainframeStore.htm

The correct foam is the secret to good formed sheaths. The heat is important too. I like the .93" thick material. The press can made with plain plywood with the foam glued to the inside. I use my forging press and have my oven right next to it so I dont lose the heat. I also heat the knife with the kydex if possible to get really deep moulding inprints. You should be able to buy a half or full sheet of material and save some cash. Maybe Im spoiled by the old days when $3.99 sq fot was too much to pay. I see now they want $8.99!
