Do any of you kydex sheath makers use glue on the back side to hold on the belt loop.
Or just how do you do it.
I tried some mp-6 multi-purpose cement on it and you could see a white line around the loop . not good.
I guess I'm at a loss on this . I don't like the rubbing on the blade when you screw it on.
Vern hoping for some help guy's

I usually use the rivet holes on the side with some chicago screws or extend the back piece up high enough to punch some holes in and rivet /screw into that.

You can use the glue they use on PVC piping. It works.

Use a mechanical fastener. The glue, even if it holds fine at first, will eventually get brittle and break.

As for "rubbing on the blade". If I understand you, the sheath is getting tighter when you attach a belt loop with screws? This comes from the loop hitting the sheath and causing it to twist from the torquing of the screws. A couple of rubber washers between the belt loop and the sheath will remedy this.

i try not to, but i have :-( i did a holster for a .380 AMT that came out SWEET except i drilled the holes, in the fold over, a tad too big. so, the loop had a little play in it. i wasn't about to shitcan the whole thing, so i took the loop off, put some adhesive on it, reattached it :-D

ETA- what do you mean about the "rubbing on the blade" when you use screws?
