Does anyone know of a custom kydex sheath maker? I want to get a sheath made for my Chris Reeve Skinner.

Thanks.

Fairnbairn,
Didn't you knife come with a Kydex sheath? Maybe Chris Reeve Knives can send you one if they have them.
Otherwise go with Eric up in Canada or if you want it done in the U.S., Bob Dozier also makes Kydex sheaths for other knives (besides making GREAT knives too).

Ciao

I agree...Eric (Normark) makes some EXCELLENT "plastic" sheaths. I have 3 of my knives in his sheaths, and the sheaths have held up very well and fit the knives perfectly...

Yes, I thought your CRK knife CAME with a kydex sheath. If not, definately go with Eric of On/Scene Tactical!! His work is out standing!!

I can't see how you'd go wrong with an Eric made sheath.

I recenty had a custom made knife built by RJ Martin. This was a one-of-kind design, especially with regard to length. Smaller than usual.

With this knife came a custom made "Kydex" sheath.

As a cop, I can tell you this much: I do not want this knife removed from this sheath by anybody..... other than me. RJ Martin has made fixed blades and sheaths for law enforcement many times.

I was amazed at the design of this sheath. When the blade is placed into the sheath the "snap" you hear (and you hear it loud and clear) tells you that this blade is not coming out easy.

If, in an attempt to remove the blade from the sheath by someone other than myself: the individual trying to pull the knife out would think that the knife was welded into the sheath. It's not going to happen.

Can I get it out?

Yes.....real easy. But I know what it takes.

Anyway: RJ Martin can make you a sheath.

And we already know about Eric.

Dan
