Can I get the contact information and web sites for the sheath makers that are highly regarded on this site. I have 4 Busse knives that needs sheaths and I want to set all of them up with piggy backs for smaller knives. Who do you recommend and how do I get in touch with them. I also want a drop leg style on all of them, damn love handles get in the way when sitting if I dont have them.

Thanks

BTW, what are the pro and cons of pancake and taco designs?

Try Eric at Smashed Cat, pancakes have more possible ways to attach than taco style,G.M

I just got 2 sheaths from Eric (Grandsuave) this week for my NMSFNO and NMFBM, and they are great.

I also have some sheaths from Buy Brown (David Brown) and they are also very good.

Thanks, I just found and priced out Okuden and Mashedcat, both are close price wise. Is the nylon dropleg on the mashedcat stiff like the Okuden. I have a Okuden rig for my FFBM and I love it. I also like the fact the with Mashedcat you dont have to send in your knife. I have 4 knives I need sheaths for, but out of all of them, only one needs to be sent. I didnt see the hairy carry listed on his site.

The nylon strap that Eric uses is pretty darn stiff. I do not have an Okuden sheath to compare it to though. Not having to ship your knives will also save you some cash.

I did not need to send mine to Eric either, and even w/o my knives they fit perfectly.
