I would like to try my hand at making a couple Kydex Sheaths and would appreciate recommendations on a source for small amounts of Kydex.

Try Sheffields Knife Supply. It costs $3.90/sq. ft. and comes in black or brown. It is .060 thick.
This is where I buy all of my kydex and have good results. If you are looking for thicker kydex, you will have to try elsewhere.
Sheffields phone # 1-800-874-7007 with a $30 minimum order price.

Hope this helps!

S. Douglas,

I actually started off making kydex, and immediately switched to Concealex after I first handled some. It's cheaper than kydex, and works just as well. I get mine from Blade Tech at http://www.blade-tech.com/ If you call, ask for Victor Kelly. He's been very helpful to me. Just keep very good records of what you order.

For some reason this URL isn't linking, even though I know the address is appropriate. Odd.

Matt
