Kydexsheath for SOG Seal 2000

I have a Seki-made Seal 2000. When I bought it, I got the nylonsheath with the velcro-retentionsnap. This is a friction sheath, but as the bladecoating has rubbed off, the sheath doesn't retain the knife as well as it used to do.

Does someone know if the new kydexsheath(the one with nylon beltloop) issued with the Taiwan-made Seal Team/Seal Team Elite knives will fit the old Seal 2000?
 
No the current SEAL Team sheath will not fit the SEAL 2000. However I think we may have some kydex sheaths for the SEAL 2000. I woudl recommend contacting our consumer services department to verify if we have any of the Kydex sheaths.
