Oh dear. The poor woman. I sincerely hope they diagnosed it in time to treat it effectively.

I have no idea who that is, but it sucks anyway. Fortunately breast cancer has a relatively high survival rate, especially if detected early.

She's a remarkably energetic, stunningly beautiful, and tremendously talented musician from down Under.

She's the anti-Britney, smart, thoughtful and blessed with a perfect body, which has apparently betrayed her.

I hope this turns out ok for her, she has made the world a better place.

She's also had kind of a rough time in the last few years, from what I remember. If I'm not mistaken, that was her boyfriend or husband that hung himself(Michael Hutchins, lead singer for INXS) a few years back. My heart goes out for her.

I use to rave to mixes of "Can't get you out of my head". She's truely a treasure to the club community and a personal favorite of mine. I'm gonna listen to her CD before I rack out for the night.

Michael hutchence was her ex-boyfriend i think. He was with Paula Yates (Bob Geldof's wife) when he died. Paula Yates also commited suicide a few years later.

Anyway, i'm quite surprised to hear this news. Kylie is one of the greatest comeback stories. Popular in the 80's and then gone throughout the nineties until she totally changed herself and is now even more popular than she was before.

A prayer for her. I still bought he tape back in the 80's when she recorded a remake of "Locomotion". Truly awesome talent....and bod!!!

Godspeed Kylie...

What a shame, though she still has the benefit (and agony) of treatment ahead of her. Kylie's music has powered me through many days of indoor cycling (spinning), and clubbing!
I send my prayers...
