I managed to make myself a KZII sheath today. I was suprised at how much different the KZII is compared to the TTKZ.

This sheath was made to hold the knife even if the snaps are undone. I used RE magnets and welt retention (On the talon Hole), I even managed to get the angles just right so that the scales aid in holding the knife in.

Well on to the pics. :D

Brother I have got to say you are an artist when it comes to leather. I have as yet had the privilage of purchasing a sheath new from you but have to I have aquired used and they are incredible!!!!!!!!! But KZII is on my list and one of those will be a sweet pair of pants for it........

Looks great.

I have been wondering how I am going to make a sheath for mine.

I am still thinking fold over deep pouch sheath, because that is easiest for me, without the proper tools.

I still need to figure out an easier way to punch the holes by hand. I have an awl, but the leather is so hard, especially when I get into 4 or 5 layers of 10 ounce leather.

Right now I have to use a hammer and needle nose pliers to get it back out.

Drilling the holes works faster, but is just not as clean.

Chuck, that is just plain beautiful! I can just see it in a color to compliment sage and tan.....

The awl should work fine. Just make sure it is sharp and lube it with beeswax now and then while you are working. Either that or buy a dremel drill press and make your life easy.

I have few of your sheaths but that's the one. For not being an ornate creation it's beautiful in form and function. Makes me want a KZII but I gotta pass. Nice work.

Great looking sheath Chuck! Really nice work.
I cannot wait to see how you handle my Survivor.
