L.A. Lakers hire Mike Antoni as new coach

Everybody knows there ain't no D in D'Antoni!

Seriously though, how outrageous must Phil Jackson's demands have been to NOT hire him back? I'm not a big NBA fan and to the extent that I am I'm a Celtic's fan, but Phil Jackson is the Man. Every player on the team would buy in 100% just because of who he is. I mean, Steve Nash loves D'Antoni, but Phil is Kobe's guy.
 
Apparently he wanted 18 million a year, so that's why. He's already in the hall of fame and has a bunch of championships so I guess he wanted it to be worth his while. Is the triangle offense worth it?

My wife, stepson and I are big Thunder fans. We have watched every game for the last 4 years since he team
moved to OKC. Personally I'm thrilled Phil didn't come back.
